A Rusty Old Rocker…

…that’s me!
Went to Caldbeck with the intention of having a coffee from The Muddy Duck Cafe.
It was closed and there were builders milling about so maybe they are turning the kiosk into a proper cafe. I’ll update later.
This gave me the perfect opportunity to visit Mae’s Tearoom in Uldale which is a hamlet on the Caldbeck to Keswick road.
Unfortunately I’d just had some breakfast, otherwise I might have tried the corned beef hash. All the food was traditional and homemade for example the ladies next to me had beef stew.
The old rusty rocking chair was outside the building, I didn’t have the bottle to try it out!
