Wrong Lens

One of the reasons we like coming to Alvor is because it gives us great opportunities to photograph birds we don't necessarily see at home. I love just wandering on the extensive boardwalks they have here and playing with my camera. However....

When we were unpacking last night I realised that I had packed my macro lens instead of my zoom lens which has effectively ruled out bird photography on this holiday. My blip today would have been a western black-eared wheatear which showed beautifully. Sadly I don't have any photo of it at all although Kwdiane took one. Consider it my virtual blip

I actually quite like this photo but it is not what I would have wanted to post.
