Hampstead

Having lived in London for three years I’m ashamed to say I never went to Hampstead Heath. Today was the day and half of London were there too.
Iconic views to the city in silhouette. Down to the muddy ponds to say the brave swimmers and up to Kenwood House, bagging umpteen movie locations along the way. Tried to lunch at Ottolenghi but hadn’t booked so no room at the inn.

Attempted to go the the British Museum but the queues were long and our day short so instead walked down to the Thames and wandered back to our luxurious hotel, The Westin which overlooks the Globe Theatre.
30,000 steps later we were pooped and time to fly home
