The Mrs and I went out for giant cookies but surprisingly ended up at a pottery exhibition. A pottery exhibition is the last place you’d find me, or the Mrs, at but we were mysteriously given two free tickets from an old lady when we were investigating what was happening.

The hall was where we were reminiscing about having seen Janet Jackson perform, but we got to see something else fascinating. We spent a solid hour perusing and appreciating the finely crafted objects displayed and sold.

We got some matching Sakura petal plates and bowls. I was deeply fascinated by a handcrafted wooden saucer half shellacked in black. It pulled something so spiritual out of me that I had to purchase it.

We got our giant cookies in the end but the exhibition was the highlight.
