Praying mantis

We've had fewer than usual praying mantis in the garden this summer so I was happy to find this one.

After a mixed morning of sundry chores and minor annoyances my mood was lifted this afternoon by a visit from Trisharooni. I'd like to say we solved the world's problems but they're too big, even for us.
