An amazing day . . .

………………………………. at West Wanaka Station.

We had a magic day for our visit over the Crown Range. Perfect weather, virtually no wind, sweeping scenery everywhere you looked and two wonderful guides. What a day! Ten of us went from the Village and thoroughly enjoyed being out in the mountains, going for walks up to high places like in this photo, and hearing about how the station is run and what they do.

We were enjoying lunch in that photo, fresh salad rolls, fruitcake & coffee, all supplied. We stopped at the Cardrona Hotel on the way home for icecreams. A super day!
