The train north

I set off north today. I have invited myself to my brother J’s house as there is a book festival on in Kirkudbright. The first part of my trip is from Oxenholme to Carlisle in a smart modern train. Then I changed trains. I could see it was sunny outside but couldn’t see out of the window. But at least they have a train! so this isn’t a complaint. I use passenger assistance when I travel and today’s trip went very smoothly and I was well looked after. .
Brother J picked me up in Dumfries.
