High summer (1)

The countryside is settling into its mature, August look now, with golden fields and dark, heavy trees. Contented, grazing sheep and cows and tall growth in the hedgerows add to the effect.
And in the garden, sometimes a glimpse of the summer growth gives a similar, yet different feel. Everything has reached its full height.
