Here’s looking at you!

There is something threatening about the way a gull can look at you. Especially a big well fed one like this specimen on Morecambe sea front. It looks as if it has gorged on chips - and possibly small dogs.

Fortunately it remained rooted to the spot as we passed by. Nothing edible was visible.

Overall a grey and cool day though it brightened up for a while in the afternoon before the clouds rolled in again.

After the drizzly rain eased this morning we went for a long walk along the prom. It is ideal for a nearly 2 year old on a balance bike. He has learned to build up motion and then glide with his feet up. We went to visit “Eric” as part of the outing.

The play park and slides on the way back provided another distraction (see extra) and he discovered that sliding back down on his front was fun. A long time was spent on that.

A 2 hour evening meeting on zoom rounded off the day!
