Tranquil

It’s been a long time since I’ve walked here. I’m loving the longer days, so I took the opportunity for a brisk 45-minute walk along the river before doing a food shop at the nearby ALDI. It may LOOK tranquil (and it was), but there was also a lot of loud squawking from a large flock of geese.

Although we’ve had very cold nights and frosty mornings, there’s been lots of sunshine during the day, meaning I can enjoy the garden again. I have a sheltered spot and the sun shines on it for a couple of hours in the afternoon. I take my book out with me, and soak up the rays. Bliss!
