Blackbird

Today is husbands birthday and we are going to a local brew pub for live music and dinner this evening so I am posting early.  We went for a walk in the wetlands hoping for Sandhill Cranes but there were hardly any birds around.  A blackbird on a fence post was about it.

A friend who has a vacation condo in Hawaii text me today asking if I could join her for their planned vacation, as her husband now has a work conflict. I booked my ticket and we leave this Thursday!  I have to change a few appointments around but looking forward to the sunshine and swimming in the ocean.
