Sixty

The big day has been and gone. I had an early walk with W we bumped in to C who gave me a birthday hug. I opened lots of cards and presents. Then I met L in Fulwood and she drove us to the Lake District. We got a bus from Ambleside to Grasmere where we wandered about and had lunch. The weather was better than expected. Then a bus back to Ambleside and a quiet drive home. W had made tea. S called round. There were presents and cards to open and a final walk with W. Just a perfect day.
