Momentary

Sunshine and squally showers today. Got damp walking into Holmfirth for drumming this morning. It was quite a challenging, fun and even-louder-than-usual session, with several extra people doing a taster 'Drumming for Wellbeing' session, 48 of us altogether. The newbies rotated to try all of the instruments. Afterwards some of us walked to Unity Yard for coffee, and sat chatting for a while.

Then I walked to the wholefood shop to order a couple of things, and picked up my repeat prescription from the pharmacy. Got soaked walking home! but as I went through the park a ray of sunshine briefly broke through the cloud and lit up this plant. Didn't notice the snowdrops until I saw the photo on the laptop!

Soaked for the second time when I walked in to Holmfirth for Soul Choir this evening. Enjoyed the singing, but felt a little tinge of regret at missing Jon Taylor's 'Blues Spectrum' at jazz...
