Happy Birthday to me!

The big 40 today !!

Woke up with a nice 8k run and after opening cards and gifts we headed into the Edinburgh Festival via a pitstop in Corstorphine to purchase some new ten pin bowling shoes.

Once into town we went for lunch at John Lewis' before heading up to the High Street and then down to the Cowgate.

We visited my favourite tee shirt shop (Swish) and MrsT got me another new Star Wars tee shirt. Thanks.!

We saw some great street performers and L wanted her face painted which was nice. After this we headed to Granny's as L was staying here overnight allowing MrsT and I to go to Ask for our dinner.

I have had a great day with my family. The say that life begins at 40..............
