Flying lessons part II

You have to feel sorry for poor Bernard the Bank Vole.  Even though the high pressure has considerably reduced the effect of this year's Dee bore again today, there were still some involuntary flying lessons being given to those luckless voles that got caught out by the flood waters.  In this case a carrion crow has picked up what it no doubt considers to be a tasty morsel.
