Rabbits?
After breakfast I took the fluffy one for a walk around the hippodrome. It was sunny but cold so I put his little coat on. The blip here is him looking for rabbits. There weren't any rabbits today, on either the morning or afternoon walk - we were probably too late in the morning and too early in the evening.
After lunch we went to the DIY shop - my mother-in-law wants new wall paper in the living room so we went to see what the nearest big DIY shop had in stock. I also picked up a new light switch for her bedroom the current one was doing strange things.
When we got back and I took the old light out, I discovered it wasn't wired as I expected at all, but to a small DC wireless remote switch. I put the new one in place, but I'm still curious why the old one failed, it still feels mechanically sound. Strictly speaking you aren't supposed to use AC switches to switch a DC voltage, but the voltage difference is vast the light switch is rated for several amps at 230 volts and the little remote runs of a 3 volts and a fifth on an amp...! I changed the battery while I was there just in case - and it was the switch not the battery that was at fault...
The dog did show any interest in my DIY, he was only interested in the walks...!
