Garden gate, Culross.

We did our usual walk at the Kelpies this morning but the traffic both coming and going was horrendous. There have been on going road works for some time but this was the worst jam up I have ever seen there. We will need to reconsider our morning walking plans for a while. 
The afternoon walk was much more peaceful at Culross. The village was quite quiet; the National Trust properties still being closed for winter. 
I was rather taken with this very fancy garden gate, even if it seems just a little out of character in a 17th century house.
