Took quite a lot of shots of the moorhens on the office pond today. This is the presentable one.

They seem not to mind cars and busses passing, but getting them within 20 yards of a camera: no chance.

Chipmonkey and I both decided on a long lens today (the tern had been circling and posing yesterday. Today, well what do you think?). As it happens we met at the end of our respective blipwanders and walked into the office sporting nigh-identical camera bags. Sure I heard some questions in our wake.

Having got a number of boardgames off the shelves last week, I now have the 'meta-game' of fitting them all back on again. Tricky, especially as I seem to have acquired two more...
