"Borrow my froggy"

I found a fellow frog lover in my friend Val who lives in Barnet. She accidentally built a chalk pond in her garden a couple of years ago which filled with frogs. The ecosystem developed and they keep coming back.

I persuaded her to lend me some frogspawn for me to nurture at home. When they are fully developed frogs I will bring them back to her. I am very excited. Camera at the ready.

BTW did you know that if you want to make tap water, frog (or indeed goldfish) friendly, you have to leave it overnight so the chlorine evaporates. Also you feed tadpoles blanched lettuce. When they become frogs they also become carnivore so bacon is their thing :-)
