It’s a pigsty

The farmer tells me this pigsty dates back to the beginning of the 17th century, although he wasn’t entirely sure. He did know, however, that he and his family have kept pigs for their wonderful acorn fed Iberian ham for many generations. Our area has plenty of acorns from the Iberian oak trees under which free ranging pigs have always roamed.

Its cloudy and cool in southern Spain.

Thanks for hosting Mono Monday Gillyh and Lesley Alsford.
