Rusty Old Sign
This rusty old sign is located at the edge of a footpath against a wall in our village.
It appears to be some sort of location marker - like the yellow fire hydrant signs that indicate the water main size and position (in the UK) ..but I cannot find any information about what it may be.
My first thoughts about the letters HPGM were ‘high pressure gas…’ but who knows. It could even be the name of a company..
It has obviously been there a long time and it’s concrete ‘jacket’ has decayed! Whatever it was indicating may no longer even be there! A chunk of metal has also been cut out of the lower plate.
Maybe some clever blippers will be able to identify it…
Tagged for the Derelict Week challenge…thanks to Marlieske for hosting again.
