The Grounds...

After bringing the last 2 pieces of mom's furniture into her apartment, Steve wanted to see the grounds of Inspired Living. I had been outside just briefly when taking a tour. We were surprised to see they have a large pond with a fountain to airate the water, a walking path, gazebos and even a dog park! We were impressed... When the time is right, we will bring mom's dog Beda to visit her. Beda will be living with us. 

Tomorrow is the move-in day. Mom has never wanted to leave her home so this could be a rough ride. Alzheimer's is having the effects on mom of anger and combativeness. 

Kathy and her husband will bring mom tomorrow and we are prepared she might get very upset when she gets there. The staff knows this and will be there to help. Whatever unfolds, I believe it will work out. Our goal is for her to be safe and happy.

Note: Mom was very upset when Steve came to get her out of her house before hurricane Milton. She was mad and insisted there was no way she go. Steve ignored her protests and started packing some clothes. When she got in the car,  she was fine. Hoping mom will rise to the occasion.
