Astonishing news for mum...

I took my laptop along to my 90 year old mum's house to let her see, as I read the long article that I found in Ancestry's Newspaper Archive about her dad in 1942, during WW2. A revealing article it was too, something that her and her siblings did not know... She is one of 8 children and only her and her wee brother left. I also sent it to him, I was very excited to send it to my Uncle too as he was born after his dad died... My grandad died in December 1943 at age 34 and my uncle was born in April 1944. He never got to meet his dad. My gran and grandad were only together for 12 years and had 8 children during that time. :'( Gran never did marry again either. He died of TB... So this article was a pleasant surprise... :D  Wow!
