Worse Than It Looks

Around fifteen minutes before I took this photograph, Pendennis Castle from its moat, id stepped out of the car into soggy, waterlogged ground in my ‘Dudes’. Lightweight shoes, not waterproof but very comfortable, they’ll need washing tomorrow.
We stayed clear of the moat bottom as we walked around the castle, staying on the high side at least allowed my feet to dry a little before arriving back at the car.
Feet that only that morning had received their four weekly pedicure.

Arriving home I worked in the back garden for an hour or two before showering and setting about my homework from yesterday.
