At a crossroads in history … (Downing Street)

The sky was abuzz with TV and Police helicopters. The tourists were thronging through Ceremonial London regardless. The sun shone. Police Territorial Support vans were parked strategically around Whitehall, The Mall and Lancaster House where the Ukraine Summit was convening. European leaders swept by in blue light motorcades. We walked miles through all this, acutely conscious that this really was a significant day in our recent History.
