The morning after …

It was pretty late last night when we got off the ferry around midnight, then a 30 minute drive to Porirua where there is a freedom camping site. We were nervous that there might be no spaces left at that time of night (early morning!) but it turned out OK. A good, undisturbed sleep.

A big day driving from there to home in Devonport today, and unpacking, cleaning up etc. Overall a good trip, albeit not a lot of recreation along the way. Always just fun to be on the road and camping at interesting places. No hotel or motel room can beat that.
