I keep coming back to this - an internet radio streamer. For the curious, the ESP32 microcontroller on the right, connected to the laptop for programming, downloads the stream, passes it to the red board to decode and convert the digital signal to analogue audio, which is passed on to the little amplifier at the bottom and then to the speaker. It's working after a fashion but not for BBC streams. Quite frustrating, which is why I keep putting it away when it gets too annoying.
