I'm just being hosey

After some sanding and tidying up of my repair to the Africa Twin's original body panel, which frankly looks terrible given the life its had, being all scraped up, split in three and welded back together, it was suddenly lunchtime.

Dad came round in the afternoon and between us we reinstalled the oil pressure switch and the thermostat casting.  We took the opportunity to do some preventative maintenance to the critical drain hole, which I suspect had become clarted up over the years, and which caused the alternator to ingest water and gradually rust and fail.  Certainly quite a lot of sandy crud got flushed out with repeated rinsings.  A lot of the spigots where pipes and hoses connect were also very cruddy, so we scraped them all clean again.

There is more to do before the throttle bodies go back on, as I spotted some damage that must have occurred when BB and I levered them off.

After that we were both too tired do any more, so Dad went home and I made some pasta for tea.

I've also backblipped yesterday's mood.
