View towards the lighthouse, Spurn Point

A lovely sunny Sunday. We were up early for our annual pilgrimage to the bleakly beautiful Spurn Point. We did our usual walk across the washover and out to the lighthouse on what remains of the old road. It's difficult to believe that we used to drive to the end when the boys were small! The walk back along the beach on the seaward side is glorious.
