Fruit Pastilles
The title might not make sense unless you look at the extra, and it might not be to everyone’s taste, so please don’t feel obligated to look.
Today was one final meet up with friends. Greg and I met L&P at the pub in Old Warden and had a lovely Sunday Lunch.
L&P bought Mums house in 2012 and we’ve been friends ever since. They’ve been up to see us twice in Saltburn and I’ve seen them twice down here in Bedfordshire too. Good friends.
After lunch we called into St Leonard’s Church in the village where Mum is buried. I’ve blipped it a few times before, but thought that this point of view looked quite nice, especially with all the shadows laying across the grave stones. It’s been a beautiful warm sunny spring day.
So, the extra shows a close up of the small cubed vase. When Mum was in the care home, the first thing she asked for every time we arrived to see her was ‘fruit pastilles’. So today we took her some.
