KL Skyline
Didn't have a good night's sleep, strange as I was tired but my back was stiff, probably from far too much sitting in yesterday.
I woke early. Indonesia may be in the danger times zone as Malaysia but the sun rises an hour earlier and the birds start well before 6 so so did I. It was dark when I got up but the dawn glow started around 7.
I did some tidying, laundry, personal admin and spike to Olivia at GG and PP's. Amelia was still asleep at after 11.
It was a lovely sunny warm day so after doing some shopping for tonight I went to the HJ pool which gets more sun. Now that it's March the sun is tracking overhead rather than lurking behind the buildings to the south. Swam, read my book, felt a bit fed up until the girls came by in the way to get their swimming stuff. When they didn't reappear I went up to check but their parents were just home and Olivia was watering the plants.
We had a good 2+ hours in the pool, under blue skies and hot sun, till the rain threatened. #1 soon joined us. He and WH has had a very relaxing 2 days at the hot springs in Ipoh.
I was doing dinner tonight so got the stuff and went back to HK to prep veg (far too much!). The 'not quite boeuf bourguignon' went down well. There was also wine which meant by 8.30 I was back at GK falling asleep in the couch. Ramadan started in Malaysia today, a day later than most places, and Merdeka 118 was lit up in what I assume were the colours to celebrate this unlike the red of CNY.
Being with the family cured my anxiety but I'm in going hi one countdown now, 2 weeks tomorrow.
