It’s still light at 5.45!

Where did the day go? While I prepped a haricot bean, leek, carrot and mushroom bake Mr C took down the blinds and lampshades from the conservatory in readiness for tomorrow. He felt a bit off after being up and down the ladder so took it easy for the rest of the day. I ploughed on with the Colombia book and have decided I must prune it down a lot. Less is more when it comes to book-making I think otherwise it is just a photo album.

Jenny and I chatted on FaceTime about our city break later this month. She’d forgotten she bought the plane tickets - luckily I saved the info she sent me. We’ll be away 5 days but there’s so much to see we’ll have to prioritise. She tires more easily than I do so I must be mindful of that and not keep trying to fit more in. We’ll need to prioritise and be sensible!

I took the blip through the front door glass at 5.45 - it’s lovely it’s still light. You’ll see the tulips are popping up - hopefully Mr C will feel up to putting the deer-protection round the pots tomorrow.
