It’s a shit job but someone has to do it.

Except no one has for about 180 years.
Spent about10 hours this weekend with a heat gun getting the second door stripped. I put the scrapings in a bag and weighed it - 4.5kgs.
The base layer was a nice faux oak shellac finish but it was impossible to save it.
My hand aches.
