Mum and Dad

Today is the 13th anniversary of my mum’s passing. I always liked this photo of them as a young couple.

I was going to meet Simon and Ellen at the crematorium but we decided instead to meet near my parents’ favourite cafe in Bexhill for a walk along the seafront and round the park we’d spent many a happy day in when my children were young. Storm and Piggy thought it was a much better idea because they could tag along. I wish I’d videoed their delight when Simon and Ellen joined us on the beach. Storm let out the happiest woof. Piggy was all over them.
