Mum's needles. 

Sunday lunch at the parents' house and I made use of mum's sewing kit as I had two pairs of gloves to repair - the cycling ones and the wooly ones. They'd both developed a hole at the same time at the end of the same finger on the same right hand glove, what are the chances?

The Millward Gold Seal needles did the job! Can't say my sewing was as neat as mum has kept the packet of needles though. She said she probably bought these when they got married, which is getting on for 60 years ago now.
