Diver back blip

These Common mergansers can be seen all along the creek but they are diving ducks and our creek is only a few feet deep with much shallower spots. It is a little deeper when it rains but as you know water runs down hill so that depth does not last long. Still, I always see them so I guess they are fine in the shallows also. We prepared some of our Super bowl food this morning then headed to town. We did some shopping at the highlands, church and then a nice dinner at Undo's.
