Woof woof

Saturday morning gym visit. R hasn’t come with us today as she is catching up on her missed sleep. 

B is doing his usual bike session as I sit and knit. There’s the normal hectic activity with the swimming groups. A dad and toddler son arrived, left their things at one of the tables and wandered off. Suddenly there was a great deal of woofing and scrambling about. The lead on the battery driven dog had moved and activity started under the table. Fortunately it didn’t get under anyone’s feet.

A dad came and sat on the settee across from me and after a short while he started up a conversation. We had a chat. It turned out that he works for the same company as S, but on a different site and speciality. Also he has an Aunt living in Elgin in the NE Scotland. I have relatives living there and we lived there in the mid 1970 /80’s. Small world. 

The local people are very friendly and approachable.
