Hearts
I was transferring some of the garden detritus into our brown recycling bin ready for the next garden collection and spotted these hearts on the trunk of whatever this was before the big chop.
As I was doing it the neighbour popped by to say they have someone to chop down the tree on their driveway which has been lifting their drive and ours. We said we would go halves so hopefully soon that will be sorted and the drive shouldn’t keep breaking up.
After a frosty start it was a nice sunny day. We managed to stay warm at the footie thanks to the sun even though there was little to cheer about. We went 0-1 down and at that point enters the dreaded relegation zone. We managed to finish 1-1 and are now 2 places above the zone but it is all very tight. The only good thing is we have a couple of games in hand which might make this look less precarious - provided we can win those games, of course!
Then we watched Man City v Plymouth and we even cheered Plymouth on which is a miracle in an Exeter City supporting household. But that is what the FA cup is all about. It is a shame they were overrun eventually but they had a great cup run.
