Joe Tree Day

What an incredible spring day even though it should be the middle of winter (we are getting two snow storms next week) I went for a hike on Pilot Hill and only needed my fleece jacket, no hat or gloves. I was wondering if I would find a good tree for today's photo. I went up a little draw and found this limber pine. It's a little scraggly and has a few brown needles but it's hardy and has great twists and shapes.

I sat outside with my coffee this morning. Met up with friends for an outside cookout then met another friend at Front Street for a drink. A good day!
