A Tree for Joe Tree

Most of the trees around our house are still completely bare of leaves so I was pleased to come across this large plum (?) tree leafing out nicely next to the field where we went to throw Spike's ball for him. We have Joe Tree to thank for coming up with the idea for Blipfoto. It is the community of Blippers who make it the excellent place that it is. 

John is still sounding pretty congested (although he denies it) and I am still seriously lacking in energy, but we are soldiering on trying to get in some steps before it starts raining again, maybe tomorrow. John went to the store today, and Dana brought us some things from the Farmers' Market, so we are well stocked with provisions and reasonably self sufficient again. She is doing a dog sitting gig this week and sent the picture in extras with the comment, 'This is a really tough job!'

I won't apologise because I never voted for that vile man, but watching that performance on television last night, even with the sound turned off, was excruciating, unforgivable and infuriating. All I can say is that Zelensky showed great self control. I am glad to see Europe and the UK mobilizing their support for Ukraine.
