Cherry laurel

I went for a short walk down Xwaaqw'um this morning, quiet and peaceful, just what I needed. The flower buds are starting to appear on the cherry laurel tree along the road down to the bay. I wanted to blip something for Joe Tree Day. I'm looking forward to seeing the buds bloom and hopefully blipping them. Not a full tree but a sign of spring, and meteorological spring begins today.
Thanks to Joe for starting Blipfoto and to everyone who has helped keep the site flourishing all these years. Such a positive site to visit every day and I appreciate all my blip friends so much. I've yet to see any of the negativity that I see on other sites.
