horse chestnuts

It was the AGM of the community tree nursery this morning, with chocolate cake afterwards.  I joined the volunteers for the meeting and had time to look around, spotting these horse chestnuts, remembering when and where we had collected them last year.   We rushed home for a quick lunch before a friend arrived, he had offered to help lay some insulation in the roof space, they both looked exhausted afterwards, a horrible job, but worth doing.
