A Tree for Joe

This is to mark Joe Tree Day. Some years ago, a speaker at the local camera club said how important it is to take at least one photograph every day. In my case, this did not happen until I was persuaded to join Blipfoto, and without this, I would not have gone to look at trees this afternoon!
The extra is quite different. We have been hearing about the alignment of planets this week, but this evening, the new moon appeared beside Venus and I managed to get this shot with the new moon in the old moon's arms.
