Scavenged

Here is one of our log stores, with a new shelf and divider wall. But the only new thing is the actual construction as all the materials have been scavenged or repurposed.

The outer shell is a crate that came from India with slate tiles in it, courtesy of a friend. This was the log store until today, about 1m square and 60cms deep.  The new shelf uses some old oak flooring given by a friend, some posts to support the shelf from our son's former fence, a divider made from a neighbour's old shed, and various offcuts of wood from the building of our extension over 10 years ago.  Even the logs are from a repurposed and scavenged tree.
