Joe Tree Day

The oak tree provides shelter,  a perch when the water is high, and a homing beacon for longer swims. There may be a blip analogy in there somewhere. The roots are very exposed but somehow it survives.

As I drive along the lake, I have this on repeat. Both rousing and calming, the bars in the middle get me every time.
