The Portrait Artist

It was extremely cold and foggy this morning as I drove my grandson to his tennis lesson.

Later it was really sunny and warm so I did some gardening at son’s house…trimming back roses etc.

My daughter in law went to a book launch party for this book…the author is a colleague of hers, an English teacher at the same school. This is her first novel and it was accepted and published by Bloomsbury. I have not read it yet but will do. I am amazed that she has had time to write a book as she has a full time job plus two young children!
