Ready for the Ladies
This male Cormorant is looking his best in his breeding plumage. I thought I wasn’t going to see anything today as the helicopter, working to lift all the wood and rubbish for the after winter clean up of the Grangettes which I went to briefly, was constantly passing overhead carrying rubbish collected by the hundreds of volunteers at the end of Lake Geneva. Wildmint stayed longer. Congratulations to all of those who volunteered. I saw three scout troops of about 30 adolescents going to do their bit and many schools were expected. Something to make the heart sing.
I thought I’d have a rest this afternoon but my hyperactivity took over and I spent ages in the garden clearing more leaves with my little helper who thought being in the garden bag was a hoot and kept going round and round inside!
