Tallest Structure in Town

These cranes have been dominating the skyline of Bloxwich for some months. If you ever drive south down the M6 just after junction 10a where the M54 joins you will see them in the distance to your left. It seems the modern way in construction to erect a large crane to move building products around the site anti isn't just large civil engineering projects like this; I've seen them used on low rise residential developments as well. Either someone has worked out that it is a cost saving, or some slick crane supplier has sold the idea to developers.

This is a new household waste recycling centre and transfer station being constructed for Walsall Council. There are significant changes to recycling coming in soon for everyone.

It was another glorious day and after spending too long in front of the computer this morning, I managed to get out into the garden and cut the lawns for the first time this year, and clean down the patio.
