Next Tuesday is Shrove Tuesday and tomorrow my son has invited us to have Shrove lunch with them. Naturally as a dessert we need to have Shrove buns. Thereby we had to drive to the city where this year a bakery has developed a new recipe for these and we have already twice tried them. They are delicious. There was a fifty person queue with more than forty outside. So I had a 30 minute standing in the queue but managed to get eight of them. In less than two hours they had sold out all the buns (they announce that in Facebook/Instagram).
