A real treat, an afternoon enjoying the seven course tasting menu at Michelin star restaurant Cail Bruich in Glasgow’s west end.
We stayed in a hotel and made a night of it.
In extras, a trip back to the city centre on the Glasgow subway ‘the clockwork orange’.
Faster and cheaper than the cab we took to the restaurant, but I’m always conscious of how small the train carriages are.
